We sell via FBA full time and only use Amazon's Seller Central interface. There are third party listing tools (FBA Power, Listtee and others) that improve your efficiency, but we decided that they were not a good fit for us. So, we stuck with Seller Central and printed our labels using the 30 per page label sheets. Thermal label printers produce better results and cost less per sticker so we purchased a Zebra 2844. The only way to print labels using our new label printer in Seller Central was to use Amazon's Scan & ship. This works but is inefficient, first the item must be added under Add a Product and then the item must be scanned again in Scan & Ship to print the label. More page loads and switching tabs means wasted time.
We listed thousands of items this way and it works, but I wanted something more efficient. So I created our FBALabels.com Firefox Add-on. In the process of adding an item in Seller Central, when you reach the step of selecting the shipment for your item you simply click the icon in the lower-right corner of Firefox and you get a popup with the label(s) you need. Just click OK and your labels print and you continue like always. You can label and pack your item and not have to touch it again, just repeat with your next item. Here is a video:
